Geri by Next, the 38-year-old’s range of bikinis and beach coverups, will be available in British retailer Next’s stores as early as next month, though you can place online orders today.
While the line is pretty comprehensive — it has everything from sleeveless dresses and caftans for coverups to fun asymmetrical suits and more leopard print than you can shake a stick at — what we find most appealing and, well, cool is the price. Seriously, not since Sarah Jessica Parker’s Bitten line for the now-defunct Steve and Barry’s have we seen a celebrity collection priced this well. Per The Daily Mail:
Whereas a two-piece swimsuit from [Elizabeth Hurley] will set you back by about £120 ($186) or a kaftan £220 ($341) and Posh’s frocks into the hundreds, Geri’s bikinis are around £18 ($28), an animal print monokini is £32 ($50) and a white crochet maxi-dress is one of the most expensive items on sale at £50 ($78).
Haliwell says what she really wants is for all women to feel confident in their own skin, whether they’re on the beach or elsewhere under the sun — and that (plus her fairly awesome maxi dresses) give us the impression that her clothes won’t be hanging out on the sand for too long.

The collection includes dresses priced $29.99 to $36.99; boots, $34.99 to $49.99, knit tops, $16.99 to $24.99; handbags, $14.99 to $29.99; shoes, $24.99 to $34.99; jewelry, $9.99 to $19.99; jackets, $49.99 to $59.99; leggings, $16.99 to $26.99, and sweaters, $29.99 to $36.99.
“It’s comfortable and chic, affordable, and versatile to wear from day to the night. It’s fantastic because you can mix and match,” Vergara observed. Read more over at WWD.
If you watched the finale episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, then you witnessed the horrible blowup between sisters Kim and Kyle. I'm just gonna come out and say it. I was Team Kyle for the entire 1st season of RHOBH, but I always thought that there was something "not right" with the way Kyle treated Kim. Kyle would leave Kim, Kyle would always complain about having to "look after" Kim, Kyle would constantly say that Kim "didn't have her back" when it always seemed to be the other way around to me. Then there was the limousine blowup between the two of them where Kyle outed Kim as an alcoholic (SO not cool and thank goodness for Adrienne stepping in) and took Taylor's side when Kim's version of events clearly checked out (verified by film playback). I don't know what's going on with Kyle, but she seems to have issues of her own that she needs to work out. Family conflict is never easy to watch. And after that finale episode where she verbally attacked her sister Kim and showed such a lack of compassion when Kim was clearly in a vulnerable state, I was officially OFF of Team Kyle. Kyle really came off as a bully and a mean girl and it was just unfortunate, sad, and honestly, I hope they both can get some help and resolve their issues. As for Lisa, the jury's still out on her for me. Taylor turned out to be really crafty at manipulating situations to suit her needs. Camille, I can't help but feel sorry for her and her situation regardless of how she was portrayed on the show. And Adrienne seemed to have the most level head throughout the season. All that being said, I can't wait to watch what happens tonight!

Supermodel Naomi Campbell spoke with BlackEnterprise.com about her business and personal relationship with Women of Power honoree Bethann Hardison. While chatting about moments shared with the legendary businesswoman, Campbell made time to give model hopefuls some advice. Naomi, who has no qualms about noting she’s a "work in progress," revealed the importance of staying grounded, listening to those who are more-seasoned in expertise and why you should have that one person who you can trust and turn to—for Naomi, that’s Hardison, who is one of several Legend Award recipients at Black Enterprise's Women of Power Summit, taking place Feb. 23-26 at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando, Florida.

Olivia Wilde was a vision in this chocolate confectionary Marchesa gown. Olivia stood out on the Golden Globes red carpet in this beautiful cocoa color and I love that she chose to wear minimal jewelry. This dress was a sugary fairy tale dream. I loved it.
Elizabeth Moss was really pretty in this deep green Donna Karan gown. This emerald green was a common theme throughout the night on the Golden Globes Red Carpet and I for one was a fan of the color.
Emma Stone wore this basic peach Calvin Klein gown and I flipped for it. Some may say, "but there's nothing to this dress" but let me tell you, clean lines usually win me over every time, and Calvin Klein is one designer who has the art of clean lines mastered.
More green! Loved this Vera Wang dress on Mila Kunis, the back of the dress was even more fabulous, sorry I don't have a pic :(
Love Sophia Vergara in this Red Vera Wang. It fit her beautifully and bottomline is, I'm just a Sophia Vergara fan girl.
Another beautiful green gown on Catherine Zeta Jones. Hers is by Monique Lhuillier and I thought it was stunning on her.
This pink dress draped ever so nicely on Claire Danes, more simple chic by Calvin Klein. Basic done to perfection. Loved it. :)

People were applauding Helena Bonham Carter's boldness and individuality (check out her different colored shoes!) but this look is just a jumbled mess to me. Helena is no stranger to quirky fashion, she usually gravitates towards the eccentric. I mean hello! She picked Tim Burton as a life partner. Nuff said. Anyhoo, I think she looks nicer when she pulls it back and refines it a little like she did here.
Scarlett looked uncomfortable in this Elie Saab dress, and I have to say it wasn't one of my favorites on her either. Maybe if her hair and makeup were different, and she was her usual confident self it would have helped, but the whole vibe just made me go... meh.
Vanilla. Bland. Milk toast. Snoooooooze fest. Did I leave anything out? I'm telling you, a Prada dress never looked so boring.
I'm gonna go to bat for Julianne Moore here in this hot pink Lanvin gown. I'm going to bat for her because I think it's unfortunate that her glam squad let her onto the red carpet looking a wrinkled mess. Shame on them for not steaming this dress.
Leighton Meester in Burberry. This dress just looks like oatmeal to me. And I usually like oatmeal. I'm just not feeling this dress. Sorry.
Lots of people liked January Jones in this bold red Versace gown but I didn't. It's too over the top like she's trying too hard to be sexy when she really doesn't have to. I gave this dress a NO.
Didn't like Angelina Jolie in this Atelier Versace dress. But to be perfectly fair, I could just be biased against her. Anyhoo, NEXT.

I love the simplicity of this Jil Sander maxi gown (from Spring 2011). And how could you not feel happy wearing such a bright citrus color? Fabulous.
via Black Enterprise: After nearly 20 years away from the spotlight, El DeBarge reemerged on the scene this year with the appropriately titled album, Second Chance. Many remember the pretty boy image of Debarge as lead singer of the beloved 80's family group of the same name, or for his rise to fame as a solo artist. But you can't ignore his two-decade-old battle with drug addiction, which spiraled out of control and lead the R&B singer to do a 13-month bid in prison from 2008-2009. Now, DeBarge is all about embracing his second chance.
Watch below as Blackenterprise.com reporter LaToya M. Smith talks with the Detroit-native about what he wishes he knew then, and what he certainly knows now. You may be surprised...

(via Essence) Sherri Shepherd is kicking off 2011 on a high note. "The View" co-host's boyfriend, TV writer Lamar Sally, recently asked for her hand in marriage, reports People. Sally popped the question a day after Christmas while they were visiting his home in Los Angleles.
He hid the ring "in the middle of a dish of Sherri's favorite but forbidden M&M's (she is diabetic), was a tiny little box," read a statement from her publicist.
But first Sally got permission from Shepherd's adorable 5-year-old son, Jeffrey. "With that, Sal took a knee and, backed up by the King of Pop, popped the question," added the statement. The two lovebirds were introduced by Shepherd's good friend, Niecey Nash's fiance, Jay Tucker. Look out for Sherri, 43, to share the good news when "The View" returns to the air on January 10th. They plan to wed in August in Chicago.
I'm gonna let you know right now, I'm loving this look. Especially on Leighton Meester. She is rocking it the most fierce IMO. Loving her tailored cropped slacks. I like AnnaLynne's look too with her leather jacket and the pop of color on her shoes, and I probably like Winona's look the least. She's just looking a little sloppy in this pic. Anyhoo, I think sporting a necktie can give a suit or a blouse and pants an unexpected chic look for us girls. I actually already own two neckties (polka dot and striped) and these pics are giving me all kinds of fever! I'm already working out outfit combinations in my head. Well that's what I think, but I wanna know what YOU think. Do you like it? Hate it? Don't care? Would you wear it? I wanna know your style verdict.
Vivica A. Fox is off the market! The former Curb Your Enthusiasm actress, 46, got engaged to Atlanta club promoter Omar "Slim" White over the holidays, the actress' rep confirms to the New York Post's Page Six.
White, 27, reportedly popped the question on December 26 with an 8 carat ring while the two were staying at the Ritz Carlton in South Beach, Florida.
Fox showed off her brand new bling when the couple, who have been dating for just over a year, hit up LeBron James' 26th birthday party at Coco de Ville at The Gansevoort in Miami Beach, Florida on Thursday.
"My career has been my baby for such a long time and I've done well by that," Fox told Wendy Williams in December. "I waited for God to send me a good man, and he's a good Southern man."
This will be Fox's second marriage; she wed singer Christopher Harvest in 1998, though they divorced four years later.

Braxton, the Grammy-winning singer of "Un-Break My Heart" and "You're Makin' Me High," will appear in "Braxton Family Values" on the WE network starting in April. Braxton's sisters – Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar – are all aspiring singers.
The dynamic of Toni's sisters trying to follow the 43-year-old Braxton into show business – with varying levels of success – appealed to WE executives. The network's research indicated that programs about families, often with a humorous touch, is a niche worth exploring.
The WE network appeals chiefly to women, and with Oprah Winfrey's new OWN network going on the air last weekend, it is looking to sharpen its focus for viewers. The network said it will emphasize programs that feature families.

After years in the planning and months of hype, the moment of launch on Saturday at 12 noon EST was rather quiet.
Buried in the middle of a holiday weekend (though boasting the numerically catchy date 1-1-11), The Oprah Winfrey Network, or OWN for short, arrived free of glitz with a one-hour preview special hosted by Winfrey, host of the syndicated "The Oprah Winfrey Show." She offered a hearty overview of the live-your-best-life fare she will curate across the network's schedule in the days ahead and further down the line.
