Xerox Prints at Isaac Mizrahi Spring 2011...
I thought those were prints at Isaac's show, but I couldn't be sure. Wow. So creative.
via WWD: Isaac Mizrahi's spring collection was called IM Xerox and opened with a series of simple whites printed with tromp l’oeil pockets, buttons and lapels, as if they had been produced at Kinko’s. It was his amusing take on 3-D in 2-D, which continued on dresses, long and short, in black-and-white floral grid prints followed by the vivid, full-color versions. Mizrahi is a master of the witty design gag and makes it work by grounding the clothes in classic uptown whimsy, here in a glamorous throwback. Proenza Schouler Spring 2011 [FULL VIDEO]...
Proenza Schouler designers via Style.com:
"We wanted it to be a little more polished," Jack McCollough said backstage, before Lazaro Hernandez jumped in: "So we took all these feminine codes—the embroideries, the flowers—and mixed them up in our own way. We wanted to do something without any obvious references." By the end, the models weren't ladies anymore. With their loose tank dresses made from guipure lace in hot, sulfur colors and flat sandal-boot hybrids, they were simply cool Proenza Schouler girls. Check out the video below of Proenza Schouler Spring 2011 in its entirety.
The American Prairie at Anna Sui Spring 2011 [FULL VIDEO]
I love when designers have a theme to their shows and you can clearly see it. That was definitely the case at Anna Sui's Spring 2011 showing. Her theme was "The American Prairie" and that inspiration was visible in just about all of her pieces. Some of it had a 60's flower child type feel and I don't know if you can get any more American Prairie than that. Check out Anna Sui's show below in it's entirety.

Badgley Mischka Spring 2011...
The Badgley Mischka duo is widely known for their fabulous red carpet fashion, but I quite enjoyed the dressed down casual chic looks and cocktail length dresses at their Spring 2011 showing. And of course these more casual looks had the same Badgley Mischka polish. The dress above was my absolute favorite of this collection hands down. It had an easy drape, with a ruffled racer back. This dress was just me all day. Love. Check out video from Badgley Mischka's Spring 2011 collection below:
Never a Dull Moment: Marc Jacobs Spring 2011...
Donna Karan Spring 2011...
Hilary Alexander from the UK Telegraph described Donna Karan Spring 2011 best I think:
Donna Karan explores the sands of time in a de-luxe arts-and-crafts adventure.
Donna Karan has absolutely nailed the concept of the Earth Mother figure with a Platinum AmEx card; the urban nomad with no limits on her spending. Her spring/summer 2011 collection was haute organic-chic in every shade under the desert sun from palest sand to burnished wood, but crafted from the most extraordinary, technical fabrics.
Spot on. Click HERE to see more pics from Donna Karan's Spring 2011 collection.

Spring Sophistication at Carolina Herrera Spring 2011...
Carolina Herrera's Spring 2011 showing was everything that's elegant, high brow chic. Her show was all that you already know her to be. But what stood out to me were the beautiful [painted on? printed?] spring florals that were a common theme on many of her pieces. She had them on pant legs, skirts and dresses and I just thought it was fresh touch for a spring line. Check out the video below for a quick look at her Spring 2011 collection.

Hip Look of the Day: America Ferrera in France...
I don't know if America (wearing Catherine Malandrino) has a stylist or if she styles herself, but whoever gets the credit, this person is doing a consistently chic job. She always looks super polished and fabulous, and I'm hard pressed to think of a time when I've seen her out looking a hot mess. Well played Ms. Ferrera. Consistently well played.
Fabulous Short Suits at Jason Wu Spring 2011...
I'm all about a short suit for spring. And Jason Wu worked his magic on a half dozen different versions for his Spring 2011 showing. His short suits were chic, clean and polished and I wanted ALL OF THEM. Click HERE to see more from Jason Wu's Spring 2011 collection.
NYFW Christian Siriano Spring 2011: My Fave Look.
This asymmetrical maxi dress from Christian Siriano's Spring 2011 collection was lovely. Fell in love with it the instant I saw it. This picture really doesn't do it justice. But click HERE if you want to see more from Christian Siriano's Spring 2011 show.
Easy and Breezy at NYFW BCBG Spring 2011...
BCBG's Spring 2011 show was like a breath of fresh air. The clothes were wonderfully light and airy as they breezed ever so effortlessly down the runway. The nude jumpsuit was one of my favorite pieces from this collection. Click HERE to see more from BCBG's Spring 2011 collection.
Fashionable Shoes Spotted at NY Fashion Spring 2011...
Refinery 29 spotted some wild shoes at Fashion Week in New York during the first few days of the Spring 2011 shows. Brave. I've done Fashion Week in New York and I tried heels the first day, but that was IT. I did flat shoes the rest of the week. Click HERE to take a peek of some of the madness.

Christian Siriano began designing at just thirteen years old and attended the Baltimore School for the Arts and the American Intercontinental University in London, where he interned with punk legend Vivienne Westwood, and with Alexander McQueen. Upon returning to the United States and moving to New York City, Christian's break came when he earned a spot on season four of Bravo's hit program Project Runway. He became the show's youngest winner, fan favorite, and a rising star in the fashion industry with his clothing sold in Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and stores around the world
Christian shows a full collection every season at New York Fashion Week, with past shows being sponsored by LG, Sprint, Victoria's Secret, Cibu International, and Aveda. He has designed for Rihanna, Heidi Klum, Victoria Beckham, Lady GaGa, Vanessa Williams, Christina Hendricks, Pink, Estelle, Mena Suvari, Kelly Rowland, Becki Newton, Kat DeLuna, and Whoopi Goldberg in her role as host of the 2008 Tony Awards. Oprah Winfrey calls his designs "works of art." Tim Gunn calls him "a prodigy" and "the next great American fashion designer."
Christian's current projects include joining Isabel Toledo, Alice + Olivia, and Patricia Field in creating an ongoing line of shoes and bags for Payless which first became available in September 2009. Is Lauren Conrad Returning to TV?

Insiders say yes, and the networks are fighting over her new unconfirmed reality show according to US Weekly.
Get ready for LC's small-screen comeback! Although Lauren Conrad left MTV's The Hills back in 2009 and has since become a bestselling author and successful fashion designer, the 24-year-old isn't done with TV.
An insider says in the new Us Weekly, out now, that Conrad is getting her very own reality show -- and that the networks have been fighting over it.
In an exclusive interview with Us, Conrad (who wouldn't confirm the new series) says her third go-round would be miles away from the drama and back-stabbing of Laguna Beach and The Hills. "The only way I'd return to reality TV would be if it allowed me to decide when the cameras stop," she tells Us.

Style Verdict: The Pantsless Trend.

Yeah, I think we can blame Lady Gaga for making this latest trend popular in 2010. Of course she didn't do it first, but she was photographed A LOT this year wearing this look which is why we're starting to see it trickle down. But where exactly could you where this "no pants" style? Honestly speaking, if I were going out for a night of fun times with a group of friends in Vegas, I might go for it. Here at home? I live in a very red state. So yeah. I don't think so. But I'm not totally against this look. It just has to be the right occasion. And a different city. But enough about what I think, I wanna know what YOU think about this trend. Do you like it? Hate it? Don't care? Would YOU rock it?
