This is about as ugly as it gets, folks. ABC has just informed Ugly Betty producers that the show’s current fourth season will be its last. What’s more, the network has trimmed the show’s episode order from 22 to 20. Although not a complete shock given the show’s heinous ratings, the news is nonetheless a total bummer — particularly in light of Betty’s creative resurgence this season. The good news is that ABC has given Betty’s bosses enough time to craft a satisfying series finale. Exec producer Silvio Horta and ABC president Steve McPherson confirmed as much in this joint statement: “We’ve mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty’s final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion. We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell.” But back to the bad news: Betty is about to hang up her poncho for good.
Last month Sonia Rykiel's lingerie collection hit H&M stores. Knitwear — actual clothing, and the second part of the collaboration — rolls out in H&M stores on February 20. H&M put together a video of the making of the collection, which offers a good look at what you can buy when it hits stores. In addition to hot-pink and black striped knit dresses, you can get hot-pink bracelets and berets to make you the brightest person on the street come spring.

Even before it hit thousands of screens, fans began clamoring for a DVD release date of the final artistic statement from the self-proclaimed King of Pop. According to Home Media Magazine, the DVD version will include an hour of extra footage in the form of featurettes on the making of the film, costumes, dancer auditions and the performers' memories of Jackson. The Blu-Ray will contain that footage, plus an additional half hour that includes alternate versions of videos of "Smooth Criminal" and "Thriller."

First off, I'm one of the first to stan for the Williams sisters. Both Venus and Serena are both massively accomplished in tennis and that's something to be proud of. That being said, the pair of flesh colored underwear that Venus decided to wear recently to the Australian Open are questionable. Wait. You know what? No they're not. They're in your face BRAZEN. I mean it looks like you can see her entire backfield! Does she think this is funny? Is she thumbing her nose at someone? Does she get a kick out of making people think they can see her bum?
Via the New York Daily News: No, Venus Williams has not gone commando, but you can't blame tennis fans for doing a double take every time her skimpy bright yellow outfit flares up. The 29-year-old tennis powerhouse has taken to wearing flesh-colored shorts at the Australian Open that nearly match the color of her skin.
The illusion has caused some fans to speculate that she's not wearing any panties and drawn catcalls from the audience. "Please put on some decent panties. I do not watch tennis to see your exposed buttocks!" wrote one fan on her Web site, venuswilliams.com.

Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints for beating the Minnesota Vikings 31-28 in overtime Sunday on unheralded Garrett Hartley's 40-yard field goal.
The team that had no home five years ago after Hurricane Katrina ravaged its city and the Superdome overcame a slew of mistakes in the biggest game the Big Easy has ever seen. "This is for everybody in this city," said coach Sean Payton, the architect of the Saints' turnaround. "This stadium used to have holes in it and used to be wet. It's not wet anymore. This is for the city of New Orleans."
Forget the paper bag masks and that long history of losing that started in 1967. Moments after Hartley's kick, they were toasting their hometown winners on Bourbon Street. And in the Superdome, once a squalid refuge after Katrina, they boogied in the aisles as confetti covered the field.
"It's a moment I've been waiting for for a long time and obviously we're not done yet," said Drew Brees, Payton's hand-picked quarterback for the Saints' renaissance.

If you read this blog regularly, then you already know how I feel about the gazillion celebrity clothing lines that have launched in the last few years. Seriously, they're launching so fast, it's almost like a virus.
In the 10 to 11 a.m. time slot on the Fashion Week calendar, a listing between "Derek Lam" and "TSE" reads "Bebe/Kardashian." This can only mean Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian are showing their Bebe line during Fashion Week. Every year these — oh, how to label them? — sham shows occur. Sheree from The Real Housewives of Atlanta staged her She by Sheree show at New York Fashion Week last season. We don't know if she's showing this season and we don't care enough to try to figure it out, but with more and more celebrities and fauxlebrities designing clothing lines, and with more and more people taking them seriously, we can only expect the sham shows to proliferate. Because what is a sham show one season, in a dingy Lower East Side apartment with a taco booth out back, could be a legitimate show with only sham flavor during Fashion Week next season (read: Erin Wasson's RVCA line). If the Kardashians can show during Fashion Week and get on the freaking official calendar, can Snuggie please come back with a Bryant Park blankie spectacular?

Teddy Pendergrass, the seductive American rhythm-and-blues singer who continued his recording career after he was paralyzed in a 1982 car accident, has died at the age of 59, media reports said on Thursday.
Pendergrass's son, Teddy Pendergrass II, told the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper that his father died on Wednesday at a Philadelphia-area hospital. He had undergone colon cancer surgery eight months ago and his son said he had a difficult recovery.
Pendergrass began his career as a drummer but first rose to fame in the 1970s when he became lead singer of Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, which had hits such as "If You Don't Know Me by Now" and "I Miss You."
After leaving the Blue Notes for a solo career, he had a string of hit love ballads that were considered musical aphrodisiacs by his fans. His solo hits, notable for his smooth baritone and sensual delivery, included "I Don't Love You Anymore," "Close the Door," "Turn off the Lights" and "Love TKO."
Pendergrass crashed his Rolls-Royce in Philadelphia in 1982 and was left paralyzed from the waist down. He resumed his recording career the next year with the album "Love Language" and returned to the stage by performing from his wheelchair at the Live Aid concert in 1985.
He started the Teddy Pendergrass Alliance in 1998 to benefit victims of spinal cord injuries.
The team of Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff wrote and produced many of Pendergrass's hits and Huff recalled the singer's solo debut at a Los Angeles nightclub.
"That night I saw the coming of a superstar," Huff said in an interview with radio station WDAS. "When Teddy walked out on the stage, he didn't even open his mouth and the place went crazy with screaming females. He was just so dynamic and when he started singing, he just blew them away."

Zoe Saldana, 31, has been named the newest face of an Avon fragrance, Eternal Magic, debuting in April, PEOPLE has exclusively learned. The fragrance “takes inspiration from the rare Princess Monaco Rose,” according to an Avon release. “It means so much to me to be associated with a company that shares my values and believes in empowering women,” says the actress, who is now best known for kicking butt as Na’vi warrior princess Neytiri in Avatar. In her first major endorsement deal since James Cameron’s blockbuster grossed a billion dollars, Saldana will also be featured in the company’s brochure as a face of Avon’s color cosmetics collection (no word on whether that includes ‘Pandora blue’!). Geralyn Breig, Senior Vice President and President of Avon North America, says of Saldana, “We are thrilled to have Zoe as the spokesperson for Eternal Magic. Every woman wants to be unforgettable and Zoe perfectly embodies that feeling. She’s a rising star in Hollywood — and has built a strong reputation for playing empowering characters that leave a lasting impression.”

"Gloves with the fingers cut off," Ms. Magnus said, reciting the inventory of ruined items. "Warm socks. Cute patent leather Mary Jane school shoes, maybe for fourth graders, with the instep cut up with a scissor. Men's jackets, slashed across the body and the arms. The puffy fiber fill was coming out in big white cotton balls." The jackets were tagged $59, $79 and $129.

Sandra Bullock has accomplished a box office feat that her fellow A-listers Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Angelina Jolie and Reese Witherspoon have never succeeded at — she’s cracked the $200 million mark at the domestic box office.
According to Variety, “The Blind Side” is the first movie ever “driven solely by a top female star” to break $200 million. Over the weekend, the drama box office receipts totaled $208.5 million.
In comparison, Bullock’s A-list counterparts have come close, but never pulled in moviegoers in such big numbers. Julia Roberts’ “Erin Brockovich” — which is often compared to “The Blind Side” — made $125.6 million domestically, while Meryl Streep’s “The Devil Wears Prada” earned $124.7 million.
