Rihanna In Leopard Print.. Working. It. Out.

[Rihanna attending the Bambi Awards in Dusseldorf, Germany on Nov. 29.]
I can't even hate on her. Well, maybe just a little. I have to keep reminding myself that she's still very young. She's like what? 15? Anyhoo, the girl rarely misses a beat every time she steps out in one of these form fitting gowns. And anybody who can rock Herve Leger on a consistent basis like she does is alright in my book.

I'm soo seeing the treadmill and a few crunches in my future...

Erin Fetherston For Target, So Cute & Girly!

I'm such a sucker for cutesy party dresses. Which is why I've already purchased this antique white chiffon and velvet Erin Fetherston mini dress ($45) from Target's newest GO! International line. It's so cute on! I've even already worn it to an appointment last week with a pair of shoes very similar to the ones the model has on. The only difference is that it was a little chilly here last week, so I added a pair of opaque black tights to the mix. Yeah. I think I turned a few heads that day. Fun times. I'm also planning on wearing it again over the coming holidays. It's a perfect holiday dress! Erin Fetherston has some of the cutest little holiday party dresses I've seen in a while in Target's GO! International line IMO, but here's a tip, I found her line to run a little small, so if you're planning on purchasing, you may want to go up a size. Or two.
Check out more of Erin Fetherston for Target here and here.

Cavalli At H&M in Chicago.. GONE.

This is the sign that greeted me loud and clear when I arrived at the H&M on Michigan Avenue in Chicago last Friday morning November 9. Roberto Cavalli at H&M, GONE. ALL OF IT. It had only been released 24 hours before on Nov. 8! When I asked an H&M associate how long the Cavalli collection had all been sold out, she told me that when she got to work at 3:30 PM on Thursday the day of the launch, that there were only a few pairs of Cavalli men's underwear left. That's it! Another sales girl told me (as I was paying for another really cute dress and top I picked up..) that the H&M Cavalli collection (with pieces that ranged in price from $80 - $100 in the store) will have a whole new existence on Ebay. She told me that some people were there specifically to buy it out at the store, only to turn around and re-sell it (at a premium too, I might add) on the popular auction site. So if you really, really want a piece of the Cavalli collection from H&M, and you don't mind paying double, and in some cases triple the price, now you know where you can get it.

Sincerest Condolences To Kanye...

Kanye West's mother Donda died suddenly over the weekend as the result of complications from a cosmetic surgery procedure in Los Angeles. Given how incredibly close these two were, our sincerest condolences go out to Kanye and his family...

Off To Chicago!

I'll be in the Windy City through Sunday visiting family, enjoying some downtime, and catching the Roberto Cavalli collection at H&M! The Cavalli collection launches today in select cities and Chicago just happens to be one of them! Yay!

I ♥ Chicago.

Ok, I'm Starting To Think This Is A Trend...

This is the BCBG Max Azria "Nikkas 2" Bootie... another boot that has the appearance of a shoe and a sock happily co-habitating. Remember the last few pair of similar designer shoes profiled on this site? Yeah. I don't think that's a coincidence. Now don't get me wrong, I have no doubt that a person with just the right style could rock these shoes like nobody's business. I'm just not sure that that person is me. What do ya'll think? Cute, or not cute?

Target To Hold "Model-Less" Fashion Show In NYC

On Tuesday November 6 (TODAY!) and Wednesday November 7, Target will hold its first "model-less" fashion show in Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal (E. 42nd Street between Park & Lexington Ave. in New York). The shows will be open to the public and will run continuously for the duration. Sure wish I could see it! Don't miss it if you're in town!

FASHION FOR THE PEOPLE
Target has long been the Thomas Jefferson of fashion—quite the pioneer of democracy. The megastore that brought Proenza Schouler to the people is expanding its reach this week with the first “model-less” fashion show (that will, of course, be open to the public). New York's Grand Central Terminal will serve as the backdrop to a virtual runway presentation, using high-def holograms to showcase clothes and accessories from Isaac Mizrahi, Keanan Duffty, Erin Fetherston, and more . “It's like those children's stories when the toys come to life when nobody is looking!” said Fetherston, whose Target collection hits stores on November 18. “I love the idea that the clothes have their own life.” Mizrahi, who was one of the first brave souls to embrace cheap-chic, said he isn't worried about the clothes losing their liveliness without models to occupy them—quite the opposite, in fact. “If you take the model out of the clothes, it allows a woman to become part of the equation, to picture herself in it instead,” he said. “It actually makes the audience really precious.” It also gives every guest a front row seat.

Moschino Covers Home Decor...

I'm not even gonna say that I'd LOVE to own ALL of Moschino's home decor pieces... oh wait, I think I just did. Moschino has fashioned some creative decor pieces for the home, and big surprise! Prices for the Moschino "boot lamp, bag lamps and bustier lamps" are all "available by request" so you know what that means... still fantastically fashionable though!

The fashion world recognizes Moschino for its tongue-in-chic style that pushes the limits, and now the whimsical label has taken its vision to the home. Without straying too far from its iconic wit, Moschino's new line of lamps copies the garments that inspired them. In true-to-life dimensions, the dress, bag, bustier and boot lamps are now available for special order.

Nice.

H&M Opens On Sunset Blvd. In Los Angeles

H&M, one of my fave budget retailers, (who always carries some of the cutest gear EVER at even better prices...) just opened a new store on November 1 on 8580 W Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles! They also have another Los Angeles store located inside the Beverly Center. H&M is must stop shopping whenever I'm on the east coast, so more store locations opening across the country is a fabulous thing!
